Greater Youth & Teen Ministry
Vision Statement
To see a generation of young people who know Christ, understand their God-given identity, walk boldly in their purpose, and become strong Christian leaders who impact their families, church, schools, and communities for the Kingdom of God.
Mission Statement
The mission of Greater Youth & Teen Ministry is to reach, teach, disciple, equip, and empower youth and teens to develop a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. Through biblical teaching, worship, fellowship, mentorship, service, and relevant experiences, we will provide a safe and encouraging environment where young people can grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, discover their gifts, and confidently live out their faith.
Purpose Statement
Our purpose is to create a Christ centered ministry where every young person feels seen, valued, loved, and connected while learning what it means to follow Jesus. We exist to help youth and teens:
    •    Know God — Develop a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
    •    Know Their Identity — Understand who they are and whose they are in Christ.
    •    Grow in the Word — Learn biblical truth and apply it to everyday life.
    •    Discover Their Purpose — Identify their God-given gifts, talents, and calling.
    •    Build Community — Develop healthy Christian friendships and relationships with trusted mentors.
    •    Serve Others — Demonstrate Christ’s love through church involvement, outreach, and community service.
    •    Lead Boldly — Become confident disciples who are prepared to influence their generation for Christ.
Ministry Motto
“Destined to Be Greater.”
Theme Scripture
1 Timothy 4:12 (KJV)
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
A second excellent foundational scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, especially because the ministry name and church identity emphasize destiny and purpose.
Core Values
Faith • Discipleship • Identity • Purpose • Fellowship • Service • Leadership
This gives Greater Youth & Teen Ministry a strong foundation that can work for children transitioning into youth ministry as well as teenagers preparing for adulthood. It also gives you clear areas around which to build Bible studies, youth nights, outings, service projects, leadership opportunities, and annual events.
